Robert N. Goodman is Chairman & CEO of The Resmark Companies. The founder of Resmark, Mr. Goodman has more than 35 years of experience in real estate finance and asset management. Since establishing the company in 1995, he has guided more than 130 development deals, with over 21,900 units of residential single-family and multifamily real estate, representing over $6 billion in cumulative and projected sales. Currently, Resmark manages over $950 million in investment capital.

Mr. Goodman has managed private placements, corporate restructurings work-outs and complex debt-for-asset swap transactions on residential tracts totaling more than $10 billion for real estate companies across the United States.

Mr. Goodman has served on the boards of directors of four publicly traded real estate companies, including two REITs. He also currently sits on the boards of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California, the Los Angeles Police Foundation and the Board of Regents of City of Hope. For many years, he was on the boards of City of Hope National Medical Center (including two years as Chairman of the Beckman Research Institute) and Oakwood School (an independent K-12 school in North Hollywood, California).

Mr. McCook joined the Resmark board in December 2006. The former President of San Francisco boutique real estate firm Kenwood Investments, he also founded Global Real Estate Strategies, a consultancy for varied real estate companies worldwide, where he serves as Chairman. He is also a member of three corporate boards of directors and investment committees in India and an advisory board in Hong Kong.

McCook retired in May 2006 from the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), which is the nation’s largest public pension fund. For five years, he held the post of Senior Investment Officer in charge of global Real Estate Investments. Prior to joining CalPERS, he spent over 20 years in senior management positions in businesses in the real estate industry, most recently as Managing Director of Institutional Housing Partners (1996–2001) and President of Prudential Home Building Investors (1991-1996).

Mr. McCook is a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans, and served with the United States Marines in Vietnam in 1968. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego.

Mr. Grahl has been with Resmark since 1999, and possesses more than 25 years of experience investing and managing institutional capital for residential and multifamily development. He has originated, managed, and directed over $2 billion in debt and equity residential financing nationwide; under his direction, the Company continues to consistently deliver good risk adjusted returns for its institutional investors.

Before joining Resmark, he served as lead consultant to Bankers Trust for its CalPERS-related residential investment program and spent over five years with Prudential Home Building Investors, where he was responsible for all investment originations and operations nationwide. Mr. Grahl began his career originating and underwriting residential investments at Home Capital Corporation, a real estate subsidiary of Home Federal Savings & Loan. He received a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics from San Diego State University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from National University.

Ira Planko

Mr. Pianko is currently Chief Financial Officer for Christina Development Corporation. He was Resmark's CFO from 2005 to 2010, after serving as a consultant to numerous clients, including Resmark, throughout 2003 and 2004. From 1988 to 2002, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Warner/Chappell Music (WCM). As the music publishing subsidiary of Time Warner, Inc., WCM generated annual revenues in excess of $500 million and had operations in 25 countries with 1,000 employees. From 1974 to 1988, Mr. Pianko rose to Audit Partner with Arthur Young & Company (predecessor to Ernst & Young), where his client emphasis was in real estate and entertainment. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Hartford and is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of New York.

Mr. Licht is an attorney with the Licht & Licht Corporation, based in Los Angeles, where he specializes in business transactions and corporate law. He has served as a director of two public companies, Medco Containment Services and Synetic, as well as numerous private corporations. In 2000, he was appointed by the Governor of the State of California to serve as a commissioner of the California Horse Racing Board. Since 1994, he has served as a director of the West San Gabriel Valley Boys & Girls Club, and has served as its President since 1997. Mr. Licht also served as a director of the City of Hope National Medical Center, a position he held from 1988 to 1994. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Stanford University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
