Robert N. Goodman is Chairman & CEO of The Resmark Companies. The founder of Resmark, Mr. Goodman has more than 35 years of experience in real estate finance and asset management. Since establishing the company in 1995, he has guided more than 130 development deals, with over 21,900 units of residential single-family and multifamily real estate, representing over $6 billion in cumulative and projected sales. Currently, Resmark manages over $950 million in investment capital.

Mr. Goodman has managed private placements, corporate restructurings work-outs and complex debt-for-asset swap transactions on residential tracts totaling more than $10 billion for real estate companies across the United States.

Mr. Goodman has served on the boards of directors of four publicly traded real estate companies, including two REITs. He also currently sits on the boards of the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California, the Los Angeles Police Foundation and the Board of Regents of City of Hope. For many years, he was on the boards of City of Hope National Medical Center (including two years as Chairman of the Beckman Research Institute) and Oakwood School (an independent K-12 school in North Hollywood, California).

Mr. McCook joined the Resmark board in December 2006. The former President of San Francisco boutique real estate firm Kenwood Investments, he also founded Global Real Estate Strategies, a consultancy for varied real estate companies worldwide, where he serves as Chairman. He is also a member of three corporate boards of directors and investment committees in India and an advisory board in Hong Kong.

McCook retired in May 2006 from the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), which is the nation's largest public pension fund. For five years, he held the post of Senior Investment Officer in charge of global Real Estate Investments. Prior to joining CalPERS, he spent over 20 years in senior management positions in businesses in the real estate industry, most recently as Managing Director of Institutional Housing Partners (1996–2001) and President of Prudential Home Building Investors (1991-1996).

Mr. McCook is a Life Member of Disabled American Veterans, and served with the United States Marines in Vietnam in 1968. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego.

Mr. Grahl has been with Resmark since 1999, and possesses more than 25 years of experience investing and managing institutional capital for residential and multifamily development. He has originated, managed, and directed over $2 billion in debt and equity residential financing nationwide; under his direction, the Company continues to consistently deliver good risk adjusted returns for its institutional investors.

Before joining Resmark, he served as lead consultant to Bankers Trust for its CalPERS-related residential investment program and spent over five years with Prudential Home Building Investors, where he was responsible for all investment originations and operations nationwide. Mr. Grahl began his career originating and underwriting residential investments at Home Capital Corporation, a real estate subsidiary of Home Federal Savings & Loan. He received a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics from San Diego State University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from National University.

Mr. Cohen joined Resmark in 2001. With more than 19 years of real estate experience, he has been involved in the financing and development of over 10,000 residential units in the United States and Israel. Mr. Cohen's current responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategy for Resmark Apartment Living. Previously, Mr. Cohen established the firm's Northern California Division in 2003 and successfully expanded its California operations. He also led Resmark's emergence as a key player in the area of direct investments in land and housing in 2007.

Prior to joining Resmark, Mr. Cohen was a member of Fieldstone Communities' management team, where he was responsible for land acquisition and entitlements, product design, construction management, and sales and marketing operations for multiple projects. Before arriving in the United States, he served as an operations manager for Peled Residential Construction in Israel and prior to that as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

Mr. McGrory is President and a principal of Resmark Shopping Centers, which was established in 2011. For over a decade, he held positions with several publicly traded international retail companies, beginning in 1997 as President and CEO of Price Enterprises, Inc. In 2000, he became Manager of The Price Group and Chairman and CEO of Price Legacy Corporation, which specialized in the acquisition and management of power centers. The Price Group was a co-investor with Resmark and CalPERS in more than $1.0 billion of for-sale residential developments, and was also a co-investor in Trans West Housing, which built over 2,000 houses in the Coachella Valley and North San Diego County. From 2002 to 2009, Mr. McGrory served as EVP and a Director of the international retail company PriceSmart.

Mr. McGrory was City Manager of the City of San Diego from 1991 to 1997; from 1999 to 2000, he served as COO of the San Diego Padres and President of the subsidiary that developed and constructed PETCO Park stadium and its adjacent commercial development. In addition to his position with Resmark, Mr. McGrory is CEO of La Jolla MJ Management, LLC, a privately held real estate investment company. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University, a Master's in Public Administration from San Diego State University, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego. Mr. McGrory was a Marine Corps Lieutenant from 1971 to 1974 and served as a Rifle Platoon Commander.

Ms. Austin joined Resmark in 2011 as part of a strategic alliance with Saybrook Community Capital, where she was Co-Founder and Principal. At SCC, Ms. Austin was primarily responsible for the investment activities, asset management and administration of the company. Before starting SCC in 1999, Ms. Austin was Director of Development for KB Home and previously held various real estate finance and work-out positions with banks, including Citibank, N.A., and real estate investment companies. Ms. Austin is a graduate of Florida State University and the Anderson School of Management at UCLA (M.B.A. honors).

Ms. Bartlett joined Resmark in 2007. Over her 14-year real estate career she has held leadership positions in asset management, development, and finance for multifamily, commercial and residential properties. Previously, Ms. Bartlett managed the Asset Management Department for SunCal Companies, and served as a Vice President/ Regional Manager at Fremont Investment & Loan managing the Los Angeles and San Francisco regions. Prior thereto, she held positions at Tarsadia Hotels, Finova Realty Capital, and Sperry Van Ness. Ms. Bartlett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.

Ms. Emmitt-Stern has been with Resmark since 2003 and possesses over 25 years of residential real estate investment experience with major financial institutions. At Resmark, she focuses on originating and underwriting residential investments throughout the West Coast. Formerly, she was the Managing Director of the Deutsche Bank Real Estate Group in Los Angeles, where for five years she was responsible for overseeing the origination and management of the homebuilding investment program with CalPERS. Prior to that, Emmitt-Stern served as Vice President with Prudential Home Building Investors, supervising the origination and management of residential investments in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States. Earlier in her career, she managed residential investments throughout California and Nevada for Home Capital Corporation, a real estate subsidiary of HomeFed Bank. Ms. Emmitt-Stern received a B.S. in Business Education and a Master of Education with an emphasis in Business from Bowling Green State University.

Mr. Hayes joined Resmark in 2011 as part of a strategic alliance with Saybrook Community Capital, where he was Co-Founder and Principal. At SCC, Mr. Hayes was primarily responsible for investment activities, asset management and financial administration. Prior to starting SCC in 1999, Mr. Hayes was Assistant Treasurer at KB Home. Before joining KB Home in 1995, Mr. Hayes held various positions in strategic planning, restructuring, corporate and project finance and M&A with New Urban West Communities and Kenneth Leventhal & Company. Mr. Hayes is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the Anderson School of Management at UCLA (M.B.A. honors).

Ms. Wilson has been with Resmark since 2005, and performs all the investment underwriting functions for the company. Recently, she led the asset work and oversaw construction completion of The Avenue, Resmark's 180-unit apartment project in Hollywood, California. With over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, her expertise spans the acquisition, entitlement, development, financing, leasing, management, and disposition of projects in the retail, office, industrial, multifamily, land and hospitality markets. Before joining Resmark, she was Senior Vice President of Development for Price Legacy Corporation, a publicly traded REIT. Prior to Price Legacy, she spent 15 years as a private developer and asset manager in the San Diego, California area. Ms. Wilson holds a California real estate broker license, and received a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Finance from San Diego State University.
