SCOTT JACKSON WILL HEAD SINGLE-FAMILY & MULTIFAMILY RESIDENTIAL INVESTMENTS FOR RESMARK IN TEXAS
The Resmark Companies, a leading residential real estate investment firm, has named Scott Jackson as Senior Vice President, Investments, responsible for business development and origination of land, single-family for-sale, multifamily development, and purpose-built single-family rental housing investments throughout Texas. He will be based in Dallas.
“With two decades of experience in acquisition and development of both single-family and multifamily communities, Scott is extremely qualified to take on this new post for us,” said Ziv Cohen, Resmark’s Chief Investment Officer. “His role will include identifying and underwriting development opportunities for Resmark as well as structuring joint venture partnerships with local developers and then overseeing our investments within the region.”
For the past 20 years of his career, Jackson was Senior Vice President of Development and Acquisition for Grand Peaks Properties and for Fairfield Residential. His responsibilities included market underwriting, site origination, pre-development and entitlements, contract negotiations, and participation in raising debt and equity. In addition, Jackson led project teams consisting of architects, engineers, consultants, and construction professionals.
A native of Arlington, TX, Jackson graduated from Southern Methodist University with degrees in Real Estate Finance and Finance. He holds a real estate license in Texas and is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. He currently resides in Dallas.
